Registered Dietitian Contractor (remote)

• About the Role: This is a virtual, flexible contractor position starting small (1–2 patients/week) and growing steadily. You set your own schedule, with a minimum availability of 10 hours/week.

• Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 virtual nutrition counseling

  • Provide nutrition therapy to patients for disordered eating, pediatrics, women’s health, weight management, diabetes, kidney health, GI, and hormone health

  • Complete charting in our EMR system in a timely manner

  • Follow practice protocols and care standards

  • Attend one 30-minute weekly check-in (paid) and one monthly 1-hour meeting (paid)

  • Maintain HIPAA-compliant communication with patients

• Requirements

  • RD/RDN credential

  • Active state licensure (NJ preferred; multistate a plus)

  • Comfortable with telehealth and digital charting

  • Reliable, professional communication

  • Liability insurance (individual policy)

  • Experience in pediatrics, disordered eating or women’s health is helpful but not required

  • Bonus if you are already in-network with any major insurance companies

• Compensation

  • 65% of insurance reimbursement per completed session, with potential for increases. Example: reimbursement of $60 for a 30 minute session would equate to a $39 compensation for that appointment.

  • $15/hour for:

  • Team meetings

  • Onboarding tasks

  • Optional marketing or social content
